    USB headphones

Ok so for the last year or so iv been having problems with WoW sound. Iv talked to a bunch of GMs but they've never really given an answer.

Im just wondering, why can I not hear WoW sound, unless I have my old crap USB headphones plugged in? Obviously im bad with these things, so I need your help. So when I plug in my good headphones which have 2 cables for sound and microphone, I cant hear WoW sound but all other games I can hear sound, when I take them out and just use default speakers in my screen I cant hear WoW either. This only happens with WoW as well. Sorry for bad english, im really tired...

    Thanks in advance

Check to see what your default sound device is in the sound options. I believe USB headphones use the digital output option which will not work with standard 3.5mm connection. It might be set to the USB headphones(digital), in which case you would need to switch it to something not digital. Hope this helps.

    How does one do this?

Go into your WoW settings, into sound, and there is a drop down menu with the different output devices, select the correct one > profit
