Solaris 5/8 HC LF Healers

The Guild:
Solaris, a 10-man guild on Ragnaros (EU, English, PvP) aimed at high-level PvE content.

About Us:
Solaris was created with the intent of giving Ragnaros a competitive top guild for cataclysm, and after a slow start due to some unexpected losses in our roster, we've now worked our way up through heroic raids and we are currently one of the most progressed guilds on the realm.

Our journey through Dragon Soul has been quite an interesting one so far, we started off this content very strongly taking the following:

• World 95th/Realm 1st Zonozz HC (10)
• Realm 1st Ultraxion HC
• Realm 1st Hagara 10 HC

The holiday season has left us with some unexpected losses and we are looking to fill some gaps that have opened up allowing us to finish off the last 3 heroic bosses.

Current Recruitment Status:
Exceptional Applications will always be considered. Right now we are in need of a skilled healer to help us finish off this current content.

Healers:
1x [Priest (Disc/Holy)]
1x [Shaman (Restoration)]

Bear in mind that even though your class is not listed here, exceptional applications will always be considered.

Vital Information:
We raid four days a week: Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday. Our raid times are 19:30-23:30.

If we are close to killing a progression boss, a maximum of 30 minutes extension can be applied. On free days we are usually either doing guild achievements/PvP or alt runs. We expect raiders to attend all raids. Missing a raid because of exams or a family dinner is okay as long as you stay over 90% attendance and we are informed well ahead of time. Repairs are permanently free, flask cauldrons are put down every raid, and the guild bank sells flasks and potions at a significant discount.

Requirements:

• Competitiveness, we want only the best, as such, you should never settle for being second best.
• High, reliable attendance, we raid with a very strict group and thus require a high attendance from all our raiders.
• Play the class, not the spec, some heroic fights will require class stacking so if you can’t play all specs you can get benched for that fight (having one or more useful alts is a plus for heroic 10 man progression).
• A player dedicated to achieving progression, both for yourself and the guild.
• Able to see your own mistakes, correct them and be able to take criticism, making a mistake doesn't have to be a bad thing, not learning from them is.
• Microphone and ability to talk on mumble, voice communication is a must.
• Sharing your opinion, being able to vocally express your thoughts and ideas as well as adding important input during encounters in a short and appropriate way.
