    Does it matter?

It's a one minute difference, and in casual speech that's irrelevant...

however, midnight isn't 11:59 or 12:00, it's the moment between those two.

I think some people might be getting confused. 12:00am Monday is also Sunday night. Where as 11:59pm Monday night is basically Tuesday morning, so it is a fairly big difference.

What does Monday at noon mean to you?

Sunday is the 4th, Monday the 5th, Tuesday the 6th.

Monday noon would be like 11:59am or 12:00pm. I probably didn't write the OP very well.

Its actually a pretty interesting question, because as I say, to me "midnight on Monday" would technically be Tuesday, while the actual midnight that does occur on Monday (12am following 11:59 on Sunday), I would not consider when someone says midnight on Monday.

    Somewhere between 11:50 and 12:30.

Also I think morning starts when the sun rises, noon is between 11 and 2, the evening starts when the sun starts to set, and night starts when the moon rises.

Personally, I don't consider it the next day until I have gone to sleep and wake up.

midnight is at 12:00AM, but every time someone tells me midnight, because people don't think this way, I ask "As it turns Monday or as it turns Tuesday?" But if you tell me "Monday at midnight" my first thought will be as it turns Monday.

This is how it's always been for me and it's very rarely been a problem, so for me in the poll it's Monday at 11:59pm.

I voted wrong... I think Midnight on Sunday is 12:00am of Monday morning. But yes there is some ambiguity.
