Why close the "Censored by SWTOR forums, Why MMO's fail, my take on Bioware/EA (long read)" Post?

It was getting derailed? Come on mods, that was a bullshit move. That was a well written post which obviously took some time/thought but let's close it because it is getting derailed. What is it about this guys (Simius) post that was so well written and layed out that it needed to be closed. Because of some of the reactions to logic?

Totally disagree with that thread closing, came out from left field somewhere. Anyway, I don't get it at all. Wow.

This should be posted in the suggestions and feedback forum. As for his thread it was derailed on the official forums for precisely the same reasons it was derailed on this one. He decided to start it out with a long long long introduction about his life and profession as a lawyer/business man. It's a wonder he would chose to reproduce that part given what happened on the official forums..
