5 raids a week, which are 4 hours a piece...........but, will only raid a couple of hours a week soon when 8/8 heroic becomes 1 day.

My guild raids about 3-6 hours a week 4/8 hc should be 5/8

In firelands we'd raid 8 hours a week (1 night for heroic modes on mains, one night for normal mode with maybe a heroic mode or 2 on alts).
Nobody in my raid really likes dragon soul that much so we just do 3.5-4 hour clear of 1/8H in DS. We would have done more heroic modes by now but roster issues due to people being bored already and/or leaving for TOR. We will probably even stick to 1 night once we get our roster fixed up, just progression for 2 hours ish on a new heroic boss and then steamroll normals with the other 2 hours.
Having a bit of trouble recruiting as half our raid is oceanic and half our raid is american so we raid at kind of weird hours. It's afternoon for the oceanic people, evening/early night for the west coasters and middle of the night for me (might be 1 other east coaster too). Plus we raid friday/saturday so that doesn't help. It's great for me cause I don't need much sleep to function and I can still go out beforehand but can understand why we have trouble when we need to recruit.

Looking at our calendar, it would seem our guild is super hardcore, raiding some 5 - 6 days a week. Ofcourse, the reason for this is that we have several different teams. In reality each team raid 2x3 hours a week, which is quite reasonable for a fairly casual guild I think.
Also, I think that poll is wrong. I'm assuming the top selection is mean to read "6 hours or less", but it actually read "6 hours or more".Last edited by mmocad991e1826; 2012-01-20 at 02:35 PM.

Alt Raid: Tuesday + Wednesday for 3 hours each so 6 hours.
Main Raid: Friday + Saturday + Sunday for 4 each so 12 hours.
So 18.
