Skyrim Expansion

I understand that there is a mega Skyrim thread that was started before the release of the game. Now that the game has been released, (and most of us have gotten a chance to go through at least one play through) id like to start a discussion about possible expansion ideas for the coming future. Remember an expansion would have to be epic, so starting a new adventure in another land would not be appropriate. I personally would like Bethesda to expand on the Thalmor issue, maybe the Thalmor have started a war and the Dovahkin has to now fight a giant undead dragon that the Thalmor have unwittingly raised to life. Because whats more epic then a dragon? A giant undead dragon is the answer.

I've heard rumors on Elswyr being the next DLC for Skyrim. But Morrowing or Cyrodiil DLC would seem more logical.

I just made level 20 and just started the Stormcloak liberation line. I still have a lot of things I haven't done or seen yet. I'm not even thinking about an expansion and since I never played the other games in the series, I don't know anything about them.

You chose Stormcloaks...excellent. I take it your Nord. Well, you should do some Daedric quests, those are pretty fun and are pretty rewarding too.

I'd like to see Black Marsh, or another area that changes the scenery a bit. As much as I love the pine forests and cold weather, I would like to see a jungle or a desert.

I would love to see them do something with the Dwemer. Blackreach is such a huge presence underneath Skyrim with so many areas and buildings to explore but all that's actually there at the moment is the elder scroll, the crimson nirnroot quest, and a dragon.

I like this idea, maybe we could have like an underdark area for the world of Elderscrolls. It would certainly be the epic presence that we could add to Skyrim.

There must be one DLC where Kodlak, Ysgramor, and I launch a Viking raid on Hircine's hunting ground and rescue the other Harbingers from him!

Oh yeah, and one where the Stormcloaks conquer the Thalmor. I long to fight for Ulfric again.

I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of post eruption/apocalypse Vvardenfall. Or maybe Elswyer(Sp?) seeing as how it'll never be a location for its own standalone game.

morrowind had it's little chunk of skyrim with bloodmoon. i think it's time skyrim paid back that debt even if it's solstheim revisited - dunmer's refuge

I'd personally like an Arena. IIRC the other games had some sort of Arena play, and Oblivion even had a very awesome one with the Imperial Arena. Since Skyrim was/is part of the Empire, would'nt it make sense if they had an arena, too?

But yeah, I've been known to lobby for Arena minded games, so.. I just think it'd rock ^^

I wouldn't count on seeing the Dwemer. Since no one has ever found them in Aetherius, Nirn, or Oblivion, they have to be in the Void. And bringing someone back from the Void would take something universe altering.
