    Romancing Tali denies Garrus.

Garrus is the ultimate bro. He would understand, that or he would turn into your nemesis in the upcoming game for being spawn of said relationship.

Edit: There is no middle ground.

    There is.

Garrus and Shepard realise their Bromance breaks all boundaries. Garrus then skips off arm in arm with shepard to go kill some more reaper scum. Shepard goes home to Tali and Garrus goes to sleep with his beloved main gun to "calibrate it" little does he know it was sleeping around with....... LEGION.

    Its called selfinsertion.
Its also why the main character of so many movies is an average, bland person.
Because i reckon that most of you cant see yourself as the guy who puts cyanide in dogfood for kicks.

Because killing animals for fun would normally mean you are on the road to being a mass murderer as a fair few start off by killing animals. Most normal people would not want to do something like that. I did once put Laxatives in a friends drink, is that good enough?

When I play shep you're right it is self insertion. I take on the role of that character. Similar to when you play Half life, the player doesn't speak because "you" are Gordon. Alternatively when I play ME I do prefer Paragon, but then sometimes I can't resist the renegade interrupts (killing the batarian and krogan in the m2 missions were brilliant).

Which is why such characters have to be properly fleshed out and characterized.
In my opinion, all characters should be done properly in movies, but i guess theres money in having Ordinary Shallow American Teenager star every movie...
I wonder when the super hero genre will start following suit...
For all their faults, a bland and boring main character is not one of them.
Maybe Green Lantern, i dont remember anything of the movie besides an ordinary teenager taking the ring from a green alien, and throwing something big into the sun.

Green lantern...... that was on awful movie.

Also it is hard for a movie to flesh out a character. When you want to appeal to a broad audience and make money sometimes you go with the path of least resistance.

As long as most of the super hero movies follow the good comic story lines im ok with it.

Green Lantern was such a bad movie full of american stereotypes.

You had the very good looking and extremely arrogant college football guy (you know the guys that always get all the girls in highschool) and this guy finds a green alien and uses it´s ring.

So he then has to save the world (like usual in such movies) and for that the has to grew balls (yeah he was very whiny at the beginning). He hurls the big bad alien into the sun, becomes the new champion of those aliens and gets the girl

    Fin

Sorry, was otherwise engaged! :P yeh that movie is TERRIBLE. Hated it. I like how this big bad monster from outer space who consumes all can be dumb enough to fly into the sun. You would have thought it would notice the big fiery ball of plasma...

Oh yeah this "world eater" was kinda stupid How could it not have heard of those things called "sun" and that they are pretty hot.

How does this world eater work anyway? Wasn't that some sort of big cloud-like monster? And the green alien stereotype in this movie is the best. Sometimes i think those hollywood writers should watch more Discovery channel with Morgan Freeman.

Seriously in Morgan Freeman´s show there were a few experts that said that it is very likely that those aliens look similar to us humans because you need similar planetary conditions for intelligent life to evolve and you need some acids like amino acids for that to happen.

It isn´t that far fetched that aliens aren´t those green monsters we think of but humanoid like you see in Mass Effect (Asari, Batarians with some more alien like species - Hanar, Turians).

I, for one, welcome our alien overlords.
Especially if they look like asari..

Especially Mass Effect clearly showed us that aliens could look like we imagine aliens (Hanar, Turians, Krogans ) or more like humans (Asari, Quarians, Drell).

So I think this alien stereotype that was created by that faked UFO landing (the one in the USA) is busted by now. Most expterts think that aliens look a lot like we do with some species looking truly alien and most looking human.

Oh man can´t the Asari just discover earth already? Damn you !! I want to travel the galaxy with some hot Asari and silly looking Hanar.

The reason that no aliens have come to Tellus (oh look at me, using the fancy name) is because a very simple fact:

    Bad news travels far.

Screw the squid ladies, Bring on Tali. Also doubt we will be found any time soon. We have not been broadcasting that long so unless they find us via scouting it will take a long time to find out we're here.

Yeah... one thing about Quarians, you'll get cockblocked by fevers and infections.

We already know that hanars have been mating with asari, but there havent been any word if hanars even have a gender, or if they simply reproduce asexually.

And as the quote itself implies, it is VERY odd for an hanar to have a mistress.
Maybe not for Japan and its evolved tentacle porn fantasies.
