The Japanese, the only people that say thank you for having suffered one of the worlds worst disasters and afterwards having been treated to a meltdown. They might have strange ideas in Japan, but damn they're polite.

Makes me wish that we had more people who helped Japan than Haiti. Haiti didn't seem as thankful and so much of the aid was embezzled

    My thoughts exactly.

After days, weeks, and months of reading about political corruption in the US and abroad, about the world going bankrupt... Its nice to see something like this that indeed does remind us that at the end of the day, we're all in this world together.

    I admit, I cried like a bitch.

Even if I didn't donate (feel bad about it).

Damn, that was 9-10 months ago? Time sure flies...

    Thanks for sharing

To be honest, my eyes were manly watered I'm glad to see the world so united in tragedies. Let's not forget that and thanks to the japanese people for that video.

Pretty disgusting if you ask me, the only time humanity as a species can come together is in times of disaster.

This is to the first half, not the "thank you"

So? if the only time a species can come together is in time of crisis, when need is high, then thats good! just because they dont gather around to play football in the park on a sunday doesnt mean anything if theyl at least come together when it -actualy-matters=)

Indeed. Even Japanese Mafia ( Yakuza ) donated trucks full of resources to help and for homeless.

Nice to see some good news for a change, as opposed to all the negativity we're usually exposed to.

Very rarely is it I feel this touched by a video, rarer still is it due to the good nature of humanity.

    Thank you for that video.

Great video! Very sweet. Sad the news from Japan dried up once the juicy news was over. Never really saw how the recovery effort went.

Almost everything you own, eat, drink, use or enjoy is the result of a massive global teamwork of individuals.

OT: Jeez, already that long since the earthquake? I think how they have coped has really been underreported, atleast in our media.
