Why does everyone always find the need to say "I don't listen to rap much" before they admit to liking something rap related?

This a cappella(freestlying with no instrumental or beat in the backround) shit is not freestyle and really just needs to go away, the fact people think this is a "rap battle" just makes me sad
both of these people were pure garbage
the kid trying to explain his meta...just shocked that this trash is accepted
freestyling to a beat is so much harder and requires so much more talent
try actually formulating a punchline with multis instead of spewing out a bunch of words that rhyme in a row

after watching this video I'm reading everyone's posts in a English man's voice. That was pretty entertaining. I'm usually not a huge fan of rap but this was good.
