Amalur Possible Salvage Bonus

I heard theres a bonus to salvaging, if you find all the lore stones in an area, then have a chance to get more back when you salvage something. Does anyone know if this is true or not?

Also in the first town, I have found a few lore stones and I usually get 2-3 but in Webwood, I haven't found any yet and I only get 1 back.
