    Lol, no. Enjoy your wipes with this "strategy".

    Best way we found on our progression kill was 7-7-5-5, boss will enter the 4th black phase around the 40 second mark, stack up near claw, pop hero/lust, chain cd's and nuke him down. It is possible to extend the enrage by 20-30 seconds. Our first ever kill was something like 15 seconds over the enrage, but we did survive until around 35 seconds after enrage on one pull.

    if you can manage a 9-7-5 or 9-5-5 with a mage cauterize/rogue cheat death, do it. Those extra bounces before the first black phase really, really help.

    And yes, you can kill him well after enrage.

    We've hit enrage only once , on our first kill (pre nerf).
    Our startegy is 7-5-5-5 with 7th bounce being taken by Shadow priest alone.

    During 4th black phase we all stack close to the claw (behind the boss) , pop heroism and rotate raid walls.

    If you are struggling on him it's either:

    (A) your dps is low
    (B) strategy isn't optimal

    Just make sure you clear the adds in timely manner and rotate your CD's for every black phase, we found it easiest to stack close to the Claw initially and zerg 2 adds ASAP then split in small teams.

    Aye taking 9 on the first phase will help dps quite a bit over the course of the fight, however, even though you can solo bounce the last two, tank damage gets very very spiky at 7+ and imo it is not worth the risk. It wasn't really needed pre-nerf to take 9, since you can kill way past the enrage, and post-nerf most definitely is not necessary.

    5-5-5-5. Lust at 4th phase and burn boss. This is the best way to do it as the magic debuffs come at the most favorable times.

    isnt that when the ball hits the wall, all you guys will be blown up to the sky?

    then ill call it's a wipe if it hits the wall

    We only do three black phases now, burning him on the last..our last kill was 4:48, I am pretty sure we had a dps die at some point though lol!

    not at all. if the ball hits the wall, raids receive 60k shadow dmg (before resist, so gogo shadow resi) and gets thrown in the air.
    - you have loads of time to get ur raid up after the 3rd black phase
    - most classes have a way to get back to the ground, TP, blink, charge, goblin racial

    but the one thing that makes this even more easier :

    DK DPS - GLYPH OF PATH OF FROST

    made it soooo faceroll using 7-7-7 then let ball go hit the wall. we had so much time left on enrage timer, it wasn't even funny. we wiped there so many times the week before.

    have killed him multiple times, we go 9-7-7 and he's under 50% by then, we turn him around pop hero and kill him with plenty of time b4 beserk. this is 10man btw, ball hitting wall might be harder in 25man. if u dont have dk tank with path of frost glyph just get a mage to slowfall or sumthing.

    ball hitting the wall isn't an automatic wipe, save sum cds for it.

    instead of the 4th black phase, just use a cd like Raidwall or Divine guardian or auramastery to reduce the initial dmg from the ball+wall thing. then it's just not taking too much dmg from the fall itself which is the easiest part . from then on it's a cakewalk

    we do 7 7 5 3 , and it only berseked ONCE on our first kill(pre nerf)
