3 phases of a teamfight- your description

I would classify them as:

Phase 1: 3-5 people from each team collide, CC is popped people are starting to build up their combo's, the AD carry might die in this phase already.

Phase 2: Any people who were not at phase 1 will be present now (or not) all the burst is being unleashed, people die and this is where skill comes in to play.

Phase 3: (cleaning up) The winning team may chase the last 1 or 2 remaining champions from the enemy team (or let them run).


Give your description (and possibly more phases, depends on how you like to word it)

Phase 1: Sniffing out positional weaknesses from each other with a subsequent CC and focus
Phase 2: Actual teamfight ensues.
Phase 3: This belongs to teamfights too imho. Considering the next tactical steps after a won / lost fight, which are usually defending a lane, killing dragon or baron, pushing an enemy lane or acing.

Phase 1: Stunned! [QSS]
Phase 2: Slowed! [Cleanse]
Phase 3: Stunned, Snared and Rooted! [ :c ]

Phase 1: Poking. Either weakening the enemy team or trying to initiate with a grab/bandage toss/whatever.
Phase 2: Someone succeeds in initiating, CC is usually popped all at once. Whichever team initiates tends to be the victor in these cases.
Phase 3: Clean up. One team is already half dead, sending the others fleeing. If they manage to chase down the last few, a lot of progress can be made toward the Nexus.
