That's sad news.. I thought that was, what Guardian was about, but maybe not really in that way - It should probably be up to the Guardian him/her self to observe and be the players ability to do notice, instead of an utility skill which could be abused - I teleport to enemy and burn enemies in the area aswell - then teleport to nearest ally - basically...

I believe that's what it switched to. "Transport to your target and burn nearby foes."

That's what I was talking about. "Transports to the nearby ally with the lowest health and create a healing are around them."

Still requires you to be alert about your surroundings and teammates though.

Meh, I don't mind, it makes more sense to teleport to nearby allies and heal them, or teleport to target enemy and set nearby foes on fire.

Was just thinking about a good escape mechanic, but Guardians have enough defense abilites already, wards, lines, symbols and bubbles, it's pretty much enough.

I agree with you. But if we go way too defensive we get less damage. I think that is why, we need offensive abilities aswell, otherwise it would be to much (in my opinion).

All that really matters in the end of the day is personal opinion and that's luckily why the trait system lets you customize your playstyle even more. I'm excited to see all the different playstyles on the battlefields ^.^

Have you SEEN the damage Guardians can dish out? It's pretty insane. I've seen 1500 hits in PvP up to 2000. Just keep it on the downlow because nobody seems to know our true power. Everyone underestimates us. Shhhh

So far no. The Yoggcast has explained several of the Tome of Wrath capabilities in their Guardian spotlight video, but even those seemed extremely underpowered for the trade off of being locked in place. I am thinking none of the press chose tome of courage over sanctuary, which is why we don't have any footage of it.

I wish the Guardian had some kind of "Super Saiyan" mode elite skill.
I hope you haven't forgotten my role in this little story. I'm the leading man. You know what they say about the leading man? He never dies.

I don't even believe in theory crafting in GW2*. I believe in playing the game that best suits me, and knowing that what I pick will be efficient I have no issue stating that.

I'd be happy with suddenly gaining great big hair that's glowing with blue holy fire, allowing me to blast everything around me with crazy blue holy fire.

That would surely ruin many, many long walks on the beach.

Rofl, jk! But yeah, digging the Sword/Torch combo and the Greatsword for a fun supportive 2h build.

Now if only we could get closer to release!

Agreed. Hopefully after they send out the beta invites they will give us more info on a release date.
