Oh, also. Once you're done with Doctor Who, watch Sherlock. There's only two series amounting to six episodes, each episode being 1.5 hours long, but it's written by Stephen Moffat - AKA the guy who writes Doctor Who stuff.
It is amazing.
But you might have a lot of trouble understanding Sherlock at some points. Well, I guess that's normal considering nobody does - it'll be worse if you're not British yourself.
Sherlock's basically..Sherlock Holmes in modern times.

He's a sociopath who's really interested in death - he doesn't solve cases because he wants to help. He solves them if they think they'll be fun or a challenge - and he especially likes cases about murder, especially serial killers.
Honestly.
Seriously.
One of the best shows ever.
Tying for first place on my favourites list with Doctor Who.
