I adore Somber. Simply Rarity is one of the best fics I've read when it comes to not only writing style, but also character depth.

That being said, I am not a big fan of Project Horizon. I have only read 10 chapters, and I've needed to re-read those 3 times due to me giving up on the story.
I think it's because I love the original so much, and Project Horizon can't keep up with those expectations, and I can't shake them because it's still Fallout, and their writing styles and gimmicks are so simular.

The Blackjack character did not grow onto me the same way as Littlepip. And PH lacks story - It's like it is taking place in the world FO;E created, but it is not bringing a story with it. It is just survival. And I really miss a story (I am certain a story takes place somewhere in the fic, or else it would not be loved that much. I just haven't encountered it yet.)

Still a good fic, though. Definitely worthy of Fallout Equestria. But Somber gets my love from Simply Rarity, not Project Horizons.

I haven't read the series in question, but personally, 10 chapters is more than enough leeway to get me hooked on a series. They have to do better than that.
