    Improvements on build

    Prices converted using ValutaKurser.dk
    Seller Website

Click the picture for full resolution.

    1. The GPU & CPU are gonna be switched depending on what's out in 3 months, atleast equilevant to the 2500k & 560ti

    2. I chose 2 different monitors because I will be gaming on the 1920x1080 and the 1440x900 while surfing, I can't surf with only 1 monitor.

3.I chose the Seagate Momentus XT because I've heard good things about it.

    4. The prices are expensive because the Danish Goverment takes 25% of all purchases, called MOMS
So the politicians can buy smoking rooms because they don't want to walk 2 floors down and go outside.

    5. I'm looking for some case fans with LED light, preferably low-noise as I will be sleeping while it's on, I reckon there you should be able to use a fan controller to turn on/off the LED lights, if anyone got any info on this it would be great.

    6. The build is to be made between June and August, when I move to Denmark to study because it's too expensive to ship my current rig, it would cost the same to build a new one just to pay for the shipping.

    7. I'm looking for suggestions regarding the PSU, I'm not sure how much power I'd need for a single GTX 560ti/570, if the leap between IE. 500w and 800w is small then I'll go for the 800w just for the sake of Xfire/SLI in the future.

I'm looking for any improvements, if there's anyone with any input on anything I'd appreciate it.

Edit: Reasons I chose Computersalg.dk over Komplett.dk is because they got better customer service, it doesn't take a month to RMA items and they got free shipping.

    PSU: Seasonic S12II-520 80+ Bronze 479DKK/$85

MM-Vision is great and have zero shipping fees, actually the price is really good. The Seasonic has always much cheaper there for whatever reason. It will cover your needs.

If for some reason you think it isn't enough you can step it up to a 620 model:

    PSU: Seasonic S12II-620 80+ Bronze 529DKK/$92

If you want to be ready for SLI 570 you'll want around 800, 560ti you could probably do with 650-700ish

    PSU/SLI: Sea Sonic X-760 999DKK/$175
    PSU/SLI: Corsair Enthusiast Series Modular TX850M 825DKK/$144
    PSU/SLI: Corsair Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 770DKK/$135

Also had good experiences with B. J. Trading EDB A/S if some of them comes from different vendor.

570 SLI can be run OCd with 600W PSU. Single GTX 560 TI = take 450W PSU.

    There is no point for CfX/SLI. They have issues such as;

    - stuttering
    - flashing

Always go for single chip GPU.

Thanks for all the input, I'll go for the TX750, is it modular?
IIRC MM-vision is pre-built computers, with a few parts available for actual sale, the only time I shopped there was 5 years ago for a new PC, it still works today.
    B.J. Trading edb, hahahahaha.

Hirv, it's a couple of years ahead I intend to go SLI/Xfire, I've got SLI GTX 580 with my current rig and haven't noticed any stuttering or flashing.

Anyone got any input on fans?

TX750 v2 is not modular, no. X-760 is fully modular and 850M is semi-modular. There is a TX750M but it actually cost more than the 850M so yeah.

hmm here is one cheaper and semi-modular, not a bad one actually (not X-760 but still):

    PSU: OCZ Fatal1ty 750W 686DKK/$120 || Review

@Inux Noctua fans! Check out the Noctua NF-P12 Review || Noctua fan selections They're obviously not the cheapest on the market.

And no Hirv you're not running an overclocked system with 570 SLi with a 600W PSU. You can probably get away with 650-670W with a good PSU but anything lower would just be dumb.

I'm currently running 2500k @ 4.4, 570 DCII SLI (850/2000)+ alot of accessories with Antec HCG 620w. The set has never sucked more than 598w from the socket (peak with stress).
Get your facts right before posting. The usual drain in games is ~ 540W

Thanks notarget, grabbing those, looks sweet . Do you know what the undervoltage things are called? the extenders for ie. fans but they undervolt them so they run at lower speed? Or should I just invest in an fan controller?

    Hir please, no flaming D:

Do not insult other forum members. You can have a civil debate without lowering yourself to insults and keep the discussion on topic.

I know he's banned, but I just wanted to point out something from Hirv's own link:
GeForce GTX 570 in 2-way SLI
A second card requires you to add another ~225 Watts. You need a 750+ Watt power supply unit if you use it in a high-end system (800+ to a KiloWatt is recommended if you plan on any overclocking).
I may be wrong (I don't feel like going through his post history to prove it), but I'm pretty sure that he's pulled that stunt before, recommending a PSU that was too low and then linked to Guru to "prove" his point, and I'm pretty sure I picked out the exact same thing as I did just now, while the article may prove that it only pulls so much power from the wall, it also specifically says to get a PSU larger than that number.

If it wasn't him, then it is funny how similar that situation was to this one.

Thanks note, thanks Cul for moderating this.

The only question left unanswered was if those fancy fan controllers are able to turn on/off the LED lights, if there's anyone with any info on this I'd appreciate it. <3

The video below me expresses my happiness if the question gets answered ^.^

I'm not sure what fan controller you're looking at, but the one that was on my Thermaltake Element V Black Edition turned the fans to different colors and off altogether.

    I'll google the Element V Gimme a mo ^^

Edit: Nice, I'll consider swapping the case then

The Element V and Element V Black Edition are two different cases, just a heads-up.

The fan controller was on the front panel with the USB and E-SATA ports, let me see if I can find an old picture of it somewhere on here, I know I posted one but I may have deleted them.

Edit: I did find one, it's from an old thread I made about correct fan positions so ignore the arrows and yellow square:

That little knob on the top-front is the fan controller. You turned it to increase/decrease speed and pressed down to change the colors or turn it off. The lights were red, blue, green or a combo of all three.

    I can guess it's a high tower?

    Are all the fans included?

Yeah, it's a full-tower, and yeah, all of the fans but one (top front) are included.

That's why it's so pricy, but cases last forever so there isn't a reason to go cheap on that.

Thank you so much Note, you've been a great help!

One minor thing, my current Corsair A70 is as loud as an airplane, I need something to undervolt CPU fans for my rig, do you know what they're called?

Um, I'm not sure if there's hardware that can do that, but I know there's a plethora of software out there that can. I don't use any personally, so you may wanna wait for more recommendations, but I have seen SpeedFan talked about.

About the case: There may be better alternatives out there. I personally liked the Element V Black Edition a lot, the only reason I switched to a mid-tower was because I wanted a smaller case to carry around. That being said, it is getting a little dated, and there may be better cases out there now.

    Voltage Regulator

The problem with the A70 is simply that the default fans are 3-pin, so you can't adjust the RPM on them. You COULD replace them to 2 fans with 4-pin connectors, and that would also solve the problem (so long as you have enough 4-pin connectors available)
