First off, you need to remove the idea of "price" otherwise it becomes even worse then the AH having to stand there to constantly undercut. When I want someone to make something, I always tip, but I determine that amount. I do not let anyone else dictate how much I'm tipping. Yes they have the recipe, but in the end I did 99% of the work, collecting mats, and they are simply taking 2 seconds to click a button. I set my own tip. And that's all it is, is a tip. I'm not paying them, I'm thanking them.
Second, if I'm a crafter, I do not want to be bothered when I'm in a raid because someone saw my sales pitch. Usually I'm happy to do it between groups and such, but when I'm running an instance I don't want to be bothered with spam.
It's an amazing concept, don't get me wrong, just needs to be tweeked and adjusted a bit.
