Zul'gurub - Is it possible to duo?

So I was thinking of duo-ing ZG for the 2 mounts every day if possible, is it doable at all? I know a Blood DK solo'd the panther boss at some point but say for example a warrior & priest of any specc?

Ofcourse. if you are geared enough to tank it and heal it, you are geared enough to do it, Bloodlord may be a lot easier if you were using a dps warrior and a shadow priest/atonement priest. Other boss is very simple.

I know the first boss is duo-able. A friend and I did it as tank/healer a few times when we had dps who couldn't get out of green stuff for love or money, back when everyone was running troll heroics every week for valor. Second boss would probably be an issue - you'd run out of spirits to res you before the boss ran out of hit points. I'm not sure beyond that.

A warrior and priest should be able to do it if they are geared. It was after the first 2 set of adds, but my healer friend and I 2 manned it (love when DPS stand in the wave of agony). Was a bit healing intensive, just because we had some blues still. Just being careful, shouldn't be too hard.

@Liagala: The second boss shouldn't be a problem as our main speccs are in fact arms and shadow. ^^

Been doing it with a Blood DK and me as a Firemage for a few weeks now. Very doable with proper players. Some of the fights can get tricky since I have no self heal outside of cauterize and evo, but we are getting very good at it now, usually 1 shot every boss. We also pull all the trash and get loads of embersilk and boes. M. Crystals from all the bosses totals to 8 or 9, plus 2 mounts can drop.

Good way to kill an hour or so with lvl 85 content that actually feels proper with 2 people.

well venoxis is soloable.. i think bloodlord mandokir would be too aside from the decapitate ... zanzil would be fun to duo as well haha but i dunno i think the panther mount looks ugly as shit so id never go after it.. its always fun finding a new challenge though.

Panther boss was soloed at the end of T12. Should be easily duoable.

You cant kill Mandokir. He instagibs even if you are alone. Might be doable with some gimmick preventing quillotine

My on my paladin healer with a fire mage made the blood boss but it took a few tries and I think we were the best set up for it really with a Cauturize, Ice bloc, Caturize, Bop, Caturize rotation because the person who have aggro will almost never get decapetated.

And we also did the panther boss which just was me tanking the boss as the healer and she single target down the panthers and then the boss.

You cant kill Mandokir. He instagibs even if you are alone. Might be doable with some gimmick preventing quillotine

Arms tank bursting the boss down in seconds with a strong Disc healer? When he kills the Priest the War pops CDs to stay alive until the Priest comes up. Doesn't seem hard at all to me if you're geared.

The raptor would kill the spirits after the first res.

Double dps could prolly easily kill it. Afaik the boss has 5m hp and raptor 200k. Blood dk in DPS gear + something. If you try to solo it, it's not possible

Do you realize how fast that boss dies with even a single decked out DPSer? Who cares about spirits, the boss likely won't get more than 1 Guillotine off. And if you really feel like it then the raptor can be killed in a bout 2 GCDs.

I did it since mid 4.2 as a mage with my friend feral tank (it is his offspec, he is usually a boomkin) and we had absolutely no trouble doing it and I grabbed the 2 mounts.

Now with more ilvl I guess we could solo the entire instance.

I'm sour though since the raptor boss can never be soloed (I think)...I don't want someone with me unless he/she's totally uninterested in the mounts. The cat lady = already soloable, I got her pretty close to death while in t12 gear but decided not to bother again until later.

WTB Account wide mounts, then it'll be a cakewalk.

I'm currently 3 manning these 2 bosses with a prot pally, shadow/disc priest and myself as fire. Cauterized saved my ass 2 of the 3 times I got the guillotine.

Get Invisibility Potion or any of the higher level ones, which ever is the cheapest.
