    Driver help

    Hello everyone

    i have a problem, everytime i turn my cmputer off and turn it back on, i have to reinstall my graphicscard driver, else i cant play. but when i just hit the sleep button, i dont have to.

    i use Nvidia GeForce GTX 275 graphicscard, but i dont know what my motherboard etc is, so i'm also looking for a program that can find it for me. i use Windows 7 64-Bit

    please help!

    P.S; i'm not the big computer guy, so if you tell me to go and fix stuff, i probbaly dont know what it is, so please explain to me how i do.

    okay, if you need a program that can check your hardware, use "hardware freak". i use it myself.

    you can find it at http://www.hannanaom.webs.com/. download it, unzip it (if you don't have a unzipper software, try 7zip (http://www.7-zip.org/), it's free and has many options) and execute the program. you'll need admin rights for this.

    we need first and foremost your driver version.

    okay, it says that the driver version is: 8.17.12.9573. but its wierd because i installed the 295.73 earlier

    Is it just this one driver? or is it any software you install?

    Might be you have a program installed which rolls back your computer to a set configuration everytime you reboot.

    the driver is normal. if you look at the final 5 numbers on the driver version, you'll notice that they match the driver version you installed.
