[Music] Rap - Looking for a specific voice

Hello all,

Looking for anyone into Rap / Hip-Hop to show some love.

Been into metal my entire life, had a couple of eminem and dre albums when I was younger (who didn't). I recently saw 8 Mile for the first time since it came out and fell in love with the style of one of the guys he battles with. The guys character in the film is 'Lotto'?? (The second guy he battles at the end). His in your face loud abrasive style makes everything he says just feel epic. I found out the actors real name and he is supposed to be a rapper but I can't find anything from him anywhere.

So can anyone recommend any rappers who sound pretty similar to this guy, i'll give you mad props.

He reminded me of some old school rappers like KRS ONE or if you don't mind some hardcore gangster stuff try M.O.P. They have a rough, yelling type style. Pharaohe Monch also has a unique gritty type voice. Try songs like Rape, Hell, or Simon Says.

Or you can listen to a song called No Mercy to hear MOP and Pharaohe Monch.

Closest thing I could come up with from the artists I listen to is Mike Mictlan. I wouldn't say he's abrasive, but it's the closest thing to loud and in your face that I listen to.
