out of 3 ability draft games i've played, i've faced off two heroes who took grow. both heroes grew in size (though not as big as tiny's size) and gain all of grow's benefits besides toss dmg unless presumably you took toss too. at around level 13 the rampaging witch doctor had at least 200 attack damage and he used firefly for great positioning. he got scepter too but i wasnt sure if it cleaves.
I had grow on naga, with scepter, it gave me the cleave, the extra range, the size, pretty much everything except the toss damage since i did not have it
Interesting. Then they've patched it, because it previously did literally nothing. Wonder if anything else has been patched.
I played legion commander with over power, fury swipes and growth. I got the damage but no size increase sadly . And yes everything just melted.
The best "carry" ability draft I've seen thus far was an Ursa with Overpower, Fury Swipes, Reality Rift, and Coup de Grâce.
Best carry ability draft? Death Prophet with Overpower (which is bugged for ranged; you get a lot more attacks than you should), Fury Swipes, Surge and... I forgot what ult it was, I think it was just Ursa's tho.
I think Zeus passive and Bristlebacks Quill Spree should make a pretty deadly combo, especially with a fast melee hero.
I heard Zeus passive works with Mana Shield.
Yes. As does Aftershock, Fiery Soul and Overload. That is, they work with Mana Shield. Because toggling mana-shield counts as a spell. Same goes for rot and some other similar abilities. However, this is just flat out an exploit imo. I expect to see them tweak a lot of abilities to fix these, ie requiring a minimum cooldown length.
A fun one is grabbing Enchant Totem. It's probably the strongest on actual strength heroes though; you get squishy on agi or int heroes, but a proper strength hero with an alright manapool can sustain using it constantly, while also building damage and a very healthy, well, healthpool.
You ideally combine it with a guaranteed crit or something like Jinada, but it's strong to begin with. I don't know whether I'd pick an invis or blink before Jinada if I was melee.
I don't really follow this topic, so if it was said already, excuse me.
Great ability combo to pick (until it's changed at least) - Enchant Totem + Geminate Attack. The damage bonus applies to both attacks, had gyro with these abilities and was literally two shotting heroes on a lane.
Also, if you get Primal Split, don't get agha - it won't give the bonus abilities unless you have them.
Steam always fucking dies on the weekend
I WANNA PLAY DOTO :/
Weaver with Germinate Attack, Natural Order, Elder Spirit and Slamdunk, anyone? It's a bit "oh, I guess I don't need to build damage" moment when your spirit comes back and gives you +150 dmg...
Just got zerg rushed by a luna+venge+drow with auras and NP and beast master to tank towers. Game was over in 6 minutes.
Il know to look for it in future but jesus christ thats some bullshit. They did so much damage when we tried to defend at level 1 we just melted.
Just played a AD game, was Skywrath. Had Brood's web, Tusk's snowball, Jakiro's ice path and Pugna's lifesteal. The harass I had early game was phenomenal. Had 4 kills by ~ 8 minutes and scepter by ~ 15 minutes. I would just wait in the web in trees, wait for enemy, snowball, ice path, drain life. GGWP.
Ended 14-1. Very, very powerful combo.
