Isn't Tobi the caster that everyone finds extremely annoying? >_>
tbh compared to GDstudio all other casters are crap but i find sheever more watchable than tobi , he is too loud for my taste it feels like those football commentators who scream "goaaaaal" for 20 sec after each score , also there is too much asslicking going on on his stream
Chat ban is really annoying , gave my bottle to a guy to use a few charges and took him 3 mins to realise he has it and give it back to me despite constant pinging on him
Those people will stop playing regardless of having a surrender option or not. And to be honest I'll rather have my entire
team sitting at well to get out of a lost game than get farmed for 45 minutes while enemy team camps our base with
30k gold lead but doesn't push to base because they want to farm kills.
I have finally got used to the chat mute system. The only people not being muted on my team are almost exclusively speaking
in cyrillic russian and if you dare to ask them to switch to english you'll end up chat muted for 24 hours yourself.
So the best option is always to not type anything regardless of situation, especially if there is a reason to suspect they might
be friends or queued together.
You've heard of pressure? Everyone will ask the guy that doesn't want to forfeit to forfeit. They will whine on him all game. And one guy can get the three others to also give up, forcing the last one to forfeit too. Also, the best games in my opinion are the games you turn around. Haven't you ever won a game with two lanes of raxes down? I have. 100% those games wouldn't happen if there was a forfeit option. People aren't good enough to decide whether a game is over or not. They just look at their own game and their own hero and if it isn't going well for them the game is over.
I had a games three days ago or something where they took down two lanes of raxes. We defended for like 20 minutes the last rax. People wanted to give up but I for sure didn't. Never underestimate people's ability to throw.
Another game I remember was when our Pudge gave up and told us all to give up because he was havin ga bad game. I constantly said no because I was playing Anti-mage and had good farm. Granted, I couldn't help my team early and they got wrecked but I knew we could win because the opponents were trash. We won. Pudge was semi AFK for like 4 minutes and then he realized we could actually win when I wrecked their team a couple of times and he started playing again. 100% my team would have cried for me to forfeit with a forfeit option.
And if you all really want to give up, you can just AFK in base. Takes maximum of 5 minutes before the game ends. Remember to try to smoke away from base so they don't fountain camp you.

I agree a forfeit button would suck balls, also why take the fun away of the winners?stomping a team is fun too,and everyone gets a chance to try it.
and why should a game stop if you're losing it?dealing with overwhelming opponents is good training
Training for what?
Standing at well for few minutes and then having to go get in XP range so you don't get an abandon so enemy
Storm Spirit can just jump and instantly kill you for 40 minutes isn't really teaching me much.
If you get locked up to your base and don't have the sickest wombo combo ultimates to turn the game the only
way you are gonna turn the game around is that your opponent has absolutely no clue how to play the game, in
which case you wouldn't get in the situation in the first place.
There isn't really anything your team can do to force you to hit the surrender button. If the would bitch just put
them on mute and continue playing.
There are situations where i would love an forfeit but i had so many games like Ariadne describedm maybe thats because im on normal/high rating, maybe its hard to see that kind of turn arounds on very high (i've just a few games on very high), but based on my xp, if the game had a forfeit button i would have more losses than i've now.
Forfeit button? No way in hell I would agree with that. You can argue all you want about fruitless struggle against impossible odds and how it is a waste of time to play till the end, but I'll remain unconvinced. It's psychological, cause, if you know you have a surrender option, you will keep it in mind, and it will mostly surely affect your judgement and your gameplay at a most crucial moment, sure as sure. Grow some balls, do your best, enjoy what you find entertaining, that's the right way im(not)ho.
About pressure, and reporting trigger-happy pansy ass butt-munchers: feth them. Do you really сare if a bunch of retarded douchebags flames you? I certainly dont, cause, they don't know me, so why would I listen to them? Stay cool, stay mighty ;[

Man, I've had some incredible games where my teams ancient was half hp while their base was still up with full t1 towers. I think it's been weeks in a row since I win quite a bit such games. Forfeit button? That shit is for pussies. If you want to abandon, go ahead and quit dota and get the abandon, don't be a pussy.
