    PCI-E 2.0 x16 (= 3.0 x8) should be enough, no?

    Speaking of 2560x1440 monitors...

    http://www.anandtech.com/show/6131/n...ps-led-monitor

I really want to see a review for this. $430 for a 27" S-IPS seems a bit too good to be true.

Even if it turns out to be a wonder, those huge bezels will make it pretty bad for multi-monitor...and at that price people will be tempted to grab more than one :P

I actually don't like multimonitor anymore. I'd rather have huge real estate on one screen.

the problem is that 3x2560x1440(11MP) is almost twice as big as 3x1920x1080(6.2MP) so you couldn't run eyefinity or surround anyway, unless of course you like sub 30 fps

Not even with quad-SLI, you think?

Wouldn't you run out of vRAM with 60 11 megapixel images per second with only 2GB usable?

/OT: has anybody got any experience using a capture card to record game video and compress it on the fly to H.264? Is it worth it?

Your mouse and keyboard remind me of my old setup.

Get a Corsair K90 and we'll be back to the same stuff again. lol

(TL;DR: The sound card box is so purtty)

I really need a new keyboard here though, you're right. This one is wearing out.

Hey now, the DX isn't lame... it just isn't as awesome as the Essence STX. Onboard audio is lame (at least my mobo's is/was)
