Building a new computer for my friend, 700 dollar Budget

Alright so before I start, I'd like to say I've been lurking these forums for quite some time and learned a lot of stuff about computers from here and have a deep amount of respect to the forumers (?) and moderators. Today I decided to make an account to post a thread to help me from my dilemma. So after posting 20 times I am finally able to say this....

Hello, my friend asked me to pick out parts and assemble a computer for him. I have prior experience putting a computer together so I'm not too worried about that. I'm just wondering if the parts I picked are well worth the price. I looked at a couple threads recommending pieces so I'm just here to get second opinions.

    Budget: 700
Resolution: Not really certain, but he uses a T.V as his display.
Games: Not sure what he wants to play but he asked me to assemble a gaming rig so I would assume he would try out some of the newer titles.
Other: Probably maybe some video/photo editing but nothing too extreme.
    Country: U.S
Parts that can be reused: Keyboard, Mouse, Screen. He pretty much just needs a new computer.

Parts that I have picked out.

Case: NZXT Apollo Black SECC Steel Chassis ATX Mid Tower Computer Case (My friend personally wants this due to the aesthetics) $59.99

    Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKX 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" $84.99

    GPU: SAPPHIRE 100314-3L Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit $169.99

    PSU: RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-530SS 530W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V $39.99

    Memory: G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 $47.99

Motherboard: ASRock H61M/U3S3 LGA 1155 Intel H61 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard $69.99

CPU: Intel Core i5-2400 Sandy Bridge $189.99

DVD Driver: I haven't really found one and I'm not sure if I can reuse his old one. I think his might be the old DvD Drive that uses PATA and the motherboard I picked out doesn't support that I believe. So If anyone can recommended one that would be great. I would imagine it be used to install windows and other basic stuff.

    total + shipping + windows = around $750 ish.

He does not plan to overclock or SLI, he just wants a new computer to run games and maybe some more popular titles in the future?

That's about the best you're gonna do I think, the PSU you've got selected is an offbrand, low quality PSU. Buying a "budget" PSU is just about the worst thing you can do in a build.
