Is my laptop overheating?

4 year old laptop, my fps ingame is so bad nowadays and I can't figure out why...

Everything on the lowest settings possible, even the resolution, and I'm still stuttering.

Been planning on buying a new pc soon, waiting for the new cpu's that are supposed to come in April.

My laptop uses Hybrid SLI, so it swaps to the 9100M when I press the button, to save battery life. The problem I have is: whenever I update my gpu drivers I can't get into my 9600M again. Screen freezes for up to 5 minutes after welcome screen, and it automatically puts it in the 9100M mode after that. Pressing the button to get it into 9600M again just freezes my laptop again for over 5 minutes, after which it returns to 9100M again.

Basically I can't update my GPU drivers...

Anyone that can help? Would be greatly appreciated!

A few weeks back it did, it just turned off and wouldn't start for about 2 mins, then it would run fine again.

Cleaned it a bit with a vacuum, solving the problem. No idea how to properly clean a laptop tho...
