Da Kine, an established guild of over 6 years (previously located on Lethon), is recruiting select classes for our 25 man raiding group.
We are currently clearing 8/8 DS in 25 man and working on our hard modes.
Formed June 17th, 2006, Da Kine has existed on Lethon as a unique balance of a casual atmosphere with progression-focused raiding. We also serve as a second family for our group of adult gamers, and particularly focus on a respect for our members' real lives and just having a good time. We have brought our unique atmosphere to Kil'Jaeden, which we now call our home.
Multiple ranks within Da Kine enable players with varied work and personal schedules to participate in high-end raiding content, and our unique method of rostering players around their availability allows us to experience this higher-level content while not sacrificing commitments to real life, families, friends, or significant others.
We are looking for mature players with a penchant for fun and laughs, who bring a mix of personality and skill. While we do not have specific gear requirements, we do expect our applicants to have an interest in theorycrafting (studying your class and methods to improve performance), or be willing to consider and discuss possibilities for improvement.
Interested parties should have a consistent and reliable availability of at least two nights per week (if you're available more, that's great too), for raiding times between 7:30 and 10:30 PST, Tuesday - Thursday. Additional content (such as 10-man raids, retro-raids, guild PvP, instancing, etc) is conducted on weekends, and entirely optional.
It is worth noting that we DO consider applicants that might otherwise be considered "undergeared" in many circumstances -- our opinion is that gear is easily acquired; we're looking for people with the right attitude and personality to contribute to our fun raiding atmosphere.
Exceptional applications for other classes will always be considered.
We do stress that Da Kine is neither a casual guild, nor a hard-core raiding guild. However, if you are looking for progression-focused raiding without having to give up your real life commitments, Da Kine may be a good fit for you.
