Could use some tips on camping Aeonaxx.

Low pop server's a great idea for the figurines. I don't think so for Aeonaxx though. But this is just my opinion, since I believe in that old "rare cap" theory that you see debated from time to time. If there's fewer people out and about, rares are more likely to live for longer periods...artificially inflating spawn times for the rares that aren't up.

So I managed to find out who the last person was to kill Aeonaxx, and I now have his exact last spawn time. I've heard people say before that if you know when he spawns last, it'll help you greatly. Problem is I don't know how it helps me. Tips on that? :/

Also, for people who don't know how frustrating camping can be, I just found out. Because he spawned minutes after I decided to go for a nap.

What i did for mine was put myself on a mount on one of the floating rocks and do things around the house and check back to see if there is anything from npcscan every 10-15 minutes. I found mine in about 3 days so id call it pretty lucky.

Download Autoclick and make it click on the spot that the Logout button will apear. Have some loud speakers so you can hear the NPC scan sound. Let your PC open over nights. Thats how i got mine.

Yes, it's against forum rules.

But yes, I know because I was actually camping at the time but NPC didn't go off because he was jjjuuussstt out of range, and I was so absolutely irate, I could've screamed. Plus hearing about someone else finding the spawns then complaining that he was bugged and losing it.

But really, I mostly ended up having a lot of near sleepless nights. However, the funny thing is the first time I found him (and lost him due to him bugging), it was around 10:30. The second time I finally found him on my own, it was also around 10:30. xD Coincidence? You tell me!

Just sit and wait. Keep a timer for yourself.
Also if you have dual monitors or another pc/laptop.
Catch up on your movies, series or anime. (Or just serious amounts of porn :P)

Aeonaxx shares a spawn with a bat, if Bloodseeker spawns Aeonaxx is guaranteed not to spawn for at least 6 hours, if Bloodseeker spawns, take a break, Xaronia does not share a timer with Aeonaxx or Bloodseeker at all, i recommend circling Temple of the Earth, you can hear NPC Scan as you forementioned if the screen is minimized as long as you have the background sound enabled, thats how I found him playing Minecraft :P if you are dead serious about camping him, prepare to give up regular toilet breaks, be quick when you need to go, keep food with you as his most likely to spawn when you are not there, best of luck

Just for those who are interested, NPCscan did go off while I was alt-tabbed. And it took about 2,5 days for him to respawn (Thursday 12.46 - Sunday 01.56), a bit towers the South of the Temple of Earth. If anyone has any other questions, feel free to ask.

Guess it's time to start farming Deathcharger's Reins now.
