[Anime] i'm all out of anime!

okay so some weeks ago i catched up with Fairy Tail, and i'm looking for something new that has the same feeling to it as fairy tail or full metal alchemist: brotherhood

does anyone has a good suggestion ?

I second One Piece. It has alot in common with Fairy Tail. If you are not opposed to watching a bit older anime, check out Yu Yu Hakusho and Hunter x Hunter (watch the first anime, not the currently airing one) are both quite good.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn! also is similar to Fairy Tail / One Piece. Doesn't quite have the emotional moments of them but the fights are really fun and has a number of great characters. The first 25 or so episodes are pretty weak but it gets much better after that. It is at that point that it changes from a really episodic series where each episode is it's own simple story to a series with multiple episode story arcs.

another quick and awesome, weird one is Fooly Cooly. Only 6 episodes but great.
Great Teacher Onizuka is also pretty good.
Death Note is pretty popular, I enjoyed it but it's not for everyone.
Elfen Lied is bloody and has an interesting story.
Sayonara Zetsubo-Sensei is a great satire
I'm really picky about the anime I enjoy so I'm trying to think of the ones I really love.

But yeah, One piece is in the 500s on episodes, so that one alone will give you something to watch for a good amount of time

Hmmm it all depends, do you like sub or dub more?

Personally i hate one piece, animation quality angers me. Full metal alchemist isnt a bad idea at all. I would recommend some of the very good big titles such as Death note, Code geass or Clannad.

But that also depends on if you like more drama, action or slice of life stuff.


This coming up season of newly streamed anime i think is going to be pretty good, If you havnt seen Eureka Seven yet there is a new Eureka show coming out in april.

Great Teacher Onizuka for the humor, Clannad for the sadness, Yu Yu Hakusho/ Hunter x Hunter just because for the fighting, well Hunter x Hunter is just epic the fights aren't really WOW WOW WOW. I'm shocked nobody recommended the World God Only Knows, this one is for the humor aswell . Usagi drop for the slice of life, Slam dunk for sports anime, Angel Beats for the pretty visuals and heart touching stories, Toradora and Kimi ni Todoke for the love stores.

All of these are the ones that i personally watch and they are all ranked pretty high in my MAL, i hope you enjoy these before you slaugther off your family.
