Trouble starting up Steam games that use GFWL

Hey. I recently purchased Bioshock 2 and Gotham City Impostors on Steam. After doing the first-time setup downloads and all that, I'm now unable to start the games. After doing some research, I realized that both of these games use Games for Windows LIVE.

Well, my Games for Windows LIVE itself won't start up, either, and I'm thinking this is the issue. I've tried reinstalling it countless times, even with Automatic Updates turned on, and it just won't launch. Is there any known fix to this?

Your best bet is to contact steam themselves for the issue.

You could alternatively try Verify the game files, if that doesn't help then contacting steam would be the only option
