So is chardev dead or what?

I loved chardev, is it dead or what because I can never get to it. I can ping it fine and all, but can't access it in a browser. If it is dead is there any alternative to it?

not gonna start a new thread, just gonna ask the same question.

doesn't work for me anymore. a couple of weeks ago i was working, but EXTREMELY slow. like, it would take 10+minutes to add one gem.

it's a shame, because it was such a great tool.
