Travelling northern Europe (Interrail)

Hello everyone.
I'm planning an Interrail trip to northern Europe (mainly Scandinavia) this summer.
Seeing that there are many people here from various countries across Europe (and elsewhere), I had hopes that maybe some could share experiences and recommendations. I'm looking for anything helpful basically, no special requirements so far.

Maybe just a few hints:
- Any additional information on recommended boat/bicycle trips would be great.
- I'm a hobby photographer and would love to see some awesome sceneries.

I'm from Switzerland myself so everything upwords including Germany can be considered.

Would be great if others could profit from this as well, so keep the ideas coming.

I'd recommend visiting northern Scandinavia then. I'm not sure if it's the whole summer or if it's just midsummer, but there is a period in the summer where the sun never actually goes down. Imagine having it sunny outside 2 at night - it's a pretty awesome experience.
