[MOP] Wrathguard sucks?

Hi, is it intended the Wrathguard does less damage than the other pets?
And my Wrathguard also doesn't equip random 2hs from my bag. Is this a bug or also intended?

Have you also noticed that it is still a beta? stuff is bound to either not work or the numbers won't be tuned properly. It is just a matter of waiting till it is sorted out

Sorry I'm not a jerk but I'm sick of those comments.
It IS BETA THEEY WILL CHANGE IT; YOU KNOW IT IS BETA etc...

His answer had nothing to do with my question.
The Felguard does low single target DPS in Cata in comparison with the Fel Hunter.
I just want to know if they are gonna stick with this orwill the Wrathguard be competitive in single target dps?
And my second question was also ignored..

Since I don't have recount I'm not sure if wrathguard is weaker than the beholder, but I've been using it as my main pet either way, and in terms of the glyph I'm not sure if it's ment to work on the wrathguard or not

First of all, your thread title is misleading and says nothing about the content of your thread. Second, do you even have the glyph? And about the damage, without an official commenting on that noone except blizzard know hows high the damage is intended to be.

I played some time with with the wrathguard too but then I tried out the other pets and the shivan bests the wrathguard in damage output.

@above Of course I have the glyph, how should I have tested it otherwise..

The overall pet damage seems lower then before, and looks like they are closer to each other pet wise. Their point was to make you choose your pet for what you want to use, not because of the best DPS, lets see if that happens!

Well since the Wrathguard is an upgraded Fel guard i bet you it does the same but with more dmg <.<? same goes for the other pets ofc as they are upgraded versions of the current "old" pets, same function + 1 new ability.

also you said that the Wrathguard does less dmg then other pets, how do you actually know that? because you dont have any addons to compare with... remind you his a dual-wielder 2 hits not one at a time... and if you are right and his dmg is lower then the Fel Guard then, beta is beta.

Yes it is intended as many blues have come out and have said damage is not where it needs to be, and wont be for a while. Too many spells and effect, dungeons need to be finished before they start tweaking numbers.

Beta isnt about omg look at how much DPS i can do, its hey look at this spell, its bugged, blues please fix this.

The glyph though? Most likely a good argument, and id post it in the WoW MoP Beta Forums. Word of advice, dont run in there screaming the sky is falling with non random 2h felguard swords, post with good information, like where, when, what you were doing. Did you try logging out, back in? Deleting your WTF cache?

Lastly, dont be an ass to people who obviously know more than you. It is the beta, numbers are the last things to be tuned. We know this, now you know this, go forth and spread the DPS woes to fellow beta testers.

Thanks ! Did blizzard say they want to make all pets similar DPS-wise? Can you please post me a link if you remember?

@molodirazz Why do I need an addon? I just let the pets kill mobs on their own and the wrathguard just cant compete with the shivan for example.

Here is an answer for you. Go to target dummies and let your pets attack it one at a time. Use the rate at which they attack and how much damage they do and avg them together whats better. You might not be able to do the math but you should be able to figure it out by watching your pets.

Addons are not required to do Damage Done comparisons, all that is needed is a combat log.

Yes it's Beta. Yes things will change. OP is not suggesting that they will remain the same. OP is curious if the change is intended, due to his experiences. He is basically asking if others are experiencing the same issue.

@ OP: Hi. This would be one of those questions for General chat. "Hey, are you guys experiencing lower than average damage with your Wrathguard?" Something to that effect. As I'm sure you've come to understand, the damage will be different come release, but it is definitely something to worry about now. If the damage is low, you need to let them know for sure. I would imagine that the Wrathguard does more aoe than other pets, however, that is just me, and I don't really play my warlock much. I haven't even transferred one over. As for the glyph, It's not so hard to believe that it is not yet implemented. Asking questions is the first step in getting answers, and you did that. However, this is not the place to do it (as I'm sure you've discovered, people are sick of the, "OH EM GEE THIS IS SO BROKEN I'M NOT PLAYING IF THIS IS SO BROKEN" type of threads. If what he wanted to ask was that, or "is anyone else having this problem?" then he probably should have asked those things. As is, he's asking people with no connection to Blizzard whether or not something is a deliberate design decision...

I just think this site is more for discussion, and less for bug reporting.
