Patch 1.8 on April 18/19th, Official

All signs are pointing to Update 1.8 hitting us next week, possibly on reset Wednesday or they might go to Thursday the 19th to let Phase Six end up

Reason why i have this prediction? Elrar posted a reference for next week, if trolling, my hat is off to him

"Before 1.8" is quite vague.

Would be nice to have an actual date

If you forced me to tell you I'd say next week - but nothing is for certain until we give an official arrival date.

If you're wondering how much time you have to clear out your Queued Quest Rewards I'd recommend just getting it done at your earliest convenience, but we're not going to spring it on you tomorrow

Even though we all knew by now Update 1.8 would drop on the 18th of April, nothing like getting the "Official" word

I bet you can all guess what this is for...

The NA region shards will be coming down tomorrow morning, 4/18/12, at 8:00am PDT for the update to 1.8. The downtime window is currently estimated at ** 2 hours **.

Patch notes will be updated and there's a LOT of reading material for those of you waiting while the shards are down.

I'll be back in the morning with status updates throughout the downtime!

You know when you complete a dungeon or kill mobs during a rift event and the little icon box pops up that you collect your reward from? That's the queued quest reward. Trion didn't want people saving their completed quests so they could grab a ton of new dungeon tokens when 1.8 hit, so they changed the system up.

I'm not sure what they changed. But for sure you won't be able to stock up on new marks right away
