specs for diablo 3 and wow mop

    Hi all,

I'm gonna buy some parts and build a desktop computer for diablo 3 and wow mop. I would like both games to be able to run on ultra settings without any kind of lagging (computer lag not internet lag) under any situation in game (for example, 5 witch doctors mass summoning in diablo 3, or 25m raid with a boss aoe phase that presents lots of spell graphics). My budget is around 1000-1200. Anyone got ideas as to what kind of parts i should be looking at? Please name the specifics.

    Thanks!

Something like that. But possibly with an i5 3570K instead of the 2500K as it is going to be available by the end of next week.

Alternative GPU would free up some money for an SSD:

This is a sweet computer for the price, but it is also well above requirements for running ultra settings d3 & mop. Plus side is you wouldn't have to upgrade any time soon as his setup would likely do well running Blizzards next game.

If you click on the link that says "Part List permalink" it will take you to the pcpartpicker website. In the top right hand corner there is a drop-down menu that lets you choose between Canada, UK, USA and Australia, and will adjust vendors and prices accordingly.

    See the picture:
