If GW2 was scrapped...

If Anet came out tomorrow and said GW2 was scrapped due to some unfortuante event what would you do instead?

Play a different mmo? If so which one?

Play a different genre?

Switch to console games? Stop gaming altogether?

I am curious, just because of all the hype and excitement about this game, and its radical change to the traditional mmo format (no holy trinity, etc).

I don't understand, by the OP you're making it sound like you expect us to respond with "I WOULD STOP BREATHING AND THE HEAVENS WOULD FALL UPON ME OH GOD THE HUMANITYYYY"
It's a game, we'd get over it. :P

It would be a shame to the MMO industry, IMO, but what can you do.

Eh...not sure. I'd probably just go to Tera and try it out, though from what I've seen it's a grindfest (even if the combat is better than WoWs). I can't keep playing WoW unless MoP really changes things up which, from what I've seen in a lot of videos and reading, it's the same old WoW with a few tweaks. If none of those sound good, I'd just play my consoles and do more irl stuff.

Just 'only play console games' 'only play other mmos' or 'only play a different genre'.

Not at all. Ive seen posts already about how people are planning to take all summer to play or whatever, cancelling vacations. I know the world wont end, thats a dumb thing to say.

I've been looking forward to this game since it was announced back in EotN.
It's been pretty much the only game on my radar for the last few months.
I see VERY few (personal) flaws in the game. (I understand some things may be flaws for others, they are not for me.)
I'm still sane enough to.. not fall over dead if it doesn't come out.
I ASSUMED other people would be to.

But it isnt going to happen though. Theres simply too much time and money been invested in this game, not to mention a huge cash injection just come in from the pre-purchase events. So I cant answer you, my brain doesnt work that way. You might as well have asked me what I would do if I found out Dracula really exists. He doesnt, so I dont know :P
