Help needed! Server "switch"

So i've started playing lol with my littlebrother because we just needed something to do, i then found out some of my old friends also played but they play on EU west and since i'm from Denmark i made my first acc on EU nordic/east ofc.

After i found out they were playing i wanted to play with them and just created a new acc on EU west but i cannot login on this new acc from the game.

Do i need to DL the game again with EU west or can i just change something in the folder to make it work?

When you look at the LoL launcher there´s a blue bar on bottom left side allowing you to switch region of your client
