You know, I've been a gamer since I was 5. Which means I've been gaming for 30+ years. I've played so many different games that it's hard to tell which one was really my favorite.

Now if you said most memorable... that's a much easier question to answer. My most memorable game was Phantasy Star 2 on the Sega Genesis. I bought it on my birthday, which is in June, in 1990, when I was 14, and finished exactly one month later, to the day. I LOVED that game. To this day I have yet to see an RPG that could match the story and intensity. Well, for a 14 year old at that time anyway.

But is it my favorite game? No, not really. I've played it a few times since, but haven't touched it in probably 10+ years.

What would I currently consider my favorite? Probably either Doom or Quake. Not sure which. Even though I haven't played either of those in years either... Hmm... favorite game... favorite game...

Sorry, can't really say. I don't really have one. Over time my tastes have changed too much to really nail down a specific genre, let alone a specific game.

HL1 with all it's mods, so let's say that was between the ages of 14-16. I don't believe it's agebound in my case, the engine was just so phenomenal.
