Ofc not, you're good if you're good. But playing an easier spec (assuming Frost is easier, and that's why you made this post) - isn't likely to make you as good as someone playing a harder spec. The skill required playing an easier spec to a high rating is less than playing a harder spec to a high rating.

That said, is it actually easier playing Frost then UH? I prefer facing Frost DKs.

No. Both specs are decent and viable. The only reason they'd suck at UH is that they're too lazy to put in a few weeks worth of practice to learn the spec. They should really give it a chance.

I hated UH pvp when I first tried it and have played DW Frost for the past 3 seasons. I switched to UH about 3 weeks ago and couldn't fathom going back to frost for arena. I'd still play frost in rbgs (when i'm not begrudgingly shotgunned as FC) as I find it a lot more fun/versatile in a lot of situations. Once you play it a fair bit and set up all your macros it's insanely powerful.

Healers/Casters are faceroll - strang, kick, grip, leap, pet stun. Better hope you've got decent peels cause with an UH DK putting out insane pressure (gargoyle, super timmy, frenzy, ERW, trinket) your death is looming.

Not so long as you're not interested in Gladiator. Then again, I have an Arms Warrior friend who's determined to get Gladiator this season, so I don't know.

nothing separate a good frost dk and an average one apart from gear, the spec is simply just too easy to play and the skill cap is so low that there is literally no difference between a 1800 frost dk and 2.4k apart from the 1800 one probably isn't playing triple dps

It doesn't make you bad. People play what they want. Although if you want to be competitive, I would highly suggest learning UH.... :/
