Yeah you're right, the novel is much better. But regardless of that, I think it's still a good movie.

How high. Still one of my favorite comedies.

Do me a favor and don't correct my spelling/grammar. I browse this site with a cell phone. Try harder next time to be an ass.

You're spoiling the movie just by saying that

    A Beautiful Mind.
    Sybil.
    The Truman Show.
    Remember Me.

Those are just some off the top of my head.
The Truman Show is one of my favorite movies, and I made a bunch of friends and family watch it. They all liked it.
It's just one of those movies that need to be seen.

Fight Club. Cult classic but still relatively unknown. Which is a shame since to me it put into words and helped me realize the why I was pissed off at life.
Snatch. Best line in a movie ever. "Do you know what nemesis means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent in this case a horrible cunt... ME.
    Boondock Saints.
Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels.

Mirror Mask - was an interesting movie as well, and the creepy rendition of a Carpenters song was something else.

The Fall - was also pretty good.

okay half these movies won major awards or were huge releases. I'm not 100% sure people are getting this right. Still I'll bite...one I watched recently

    Submarine

Seriously the following movies were huge:

    Fight Club
    Beautiful Mind
Limitless (hell they even reference this hollywood blockbuster on the office)
    Snatch
    Trainspotting
    True Romance

I could list more...these are not unknown or miscredited movies, infact some of them made the careers of the directors

Artificial Intelligence, or known as A.I.

Definitely Attack the Block in my opinion. Really nice sci-fi suspense movie that I think didn't get the recognition it deserved.

I see a lot of Snatch, but no ROCK N ROLLA!! Love that movie.

And of course, Scott Pilgrim Vs The World
