Dead Space 2 PC issues

I have Dead Space on PC and am fully aware of problems due to it being a console port. Things like mouse acceleration which ruined the game for me since for a time none of the fixes worked untill I upgraded my graphics card, but thats not the issue.

I'm tempted to pick up Dead Space 2 on steam for about 3 pounds which is a bloomin good deal, I was just wondering since my googling hasn't turned up much, is Dead Space 2 a decent port? I'm assuming it is a port anyway.

Does it retain any issues Dead Space had or bring up some of it's own?

I have found no issues while playing it (except one part in zero gravity where objects i had to move dissappeared so i had to reload, but that happened only once.)

No problems here.

Dead Space 1: Disable (enable?) vertical sync in the options menu, this fixed the mouse acceleration problem for me.

Played it around launch for PC and had no issues at all. Love those games!
