Account Wide Achievements Being Tested!

First off lurking through the forums or the front page I noticed there was nothing in regards to this but if its been brought up before go ahead and flame me but I found something unique looking at the new achievements page.

The toon I am using is "Ryxas" my premade 85 monk. The toon I am looking at this one achievement earned "Operation: Gnomeregan" that was earned by "Rixas" a toon I copied over from live.

Right now its showing feat of strenghts and most general achievements that carried over as earned by "Rixas".

Hopefully this is a step to the implementation of Account Wide achievements, especially those who earned achievements on our alts and help with the ease of main swaps.

Aye, Blizz said it would start with pets and hopefully move over to mounts and achievements in general. Looks like they're getting closer to that.

What have they done w/achievements in progress and PVP achieves? Are the inprogress achieves just merged together?

Yeah im really excited about this too, but i would be more so if there was more info on the details of this feature, does it mean i wont have to rep grind on any of my other chars if I've already done it on one? if so does that mean for example;The Netherwing Faction, an old favorite of mine, mounts are available to my paladin even though i completed the rep grind on my mage?

Does it only transfer complete achievements?
OR
Does it merge all progress between your characters?

hypothetical example:
Warlock has 72000HK's, Rogue has 23000, Death Knight has 8000.
Will your account have the "100,000 HK's" achievement? as you have in total 103,000.

I wonder how it will work with meta achievements? Hopefully it will let you complete the meta on 2 different toons and get the meta and associated reward (if there is one).

Currently on beta it only shares the completed achievements, not merging the kills/criteria
Apart from the achie with a new "blue" sign you get nothing that's supposed to be rewarded for it: no titles or items

i see the achievement for invincible. were you able to use the mount on that char or does it just say u have the achievement?

not able to use the mount just had the fos. im sure this is only an early stage of account wide pets/achievements/mounts


no titles either. I hate to be that guy that says beta is beta but. This is testing at an early stage there's plenty of time to implement the other parts especially since pets work i see no reason for them to not have mounts working by release.

I noticed that in the screenshot there's a battle.net logo covering where the achievement's point value would normally be. I know that FoS don't grant any points, but if you're able to see normal achievements, do the ones with the logo grant points?

So, for example, if I earned "wrecking ball" on my hunter, which grants 10 points, would my warrior who doesn't have it also be granted 10 points in addition to the achievement?
