What crowbars? Only crowbar I know of was the one the motherboardsorg guy got and fooled around with like a bumbling idiot - oh and threatened to beat Synthaxx with.

I am 100% serious, he legitimately threatened Synthaxx with one of those crowbars.

That (imo) is one of the best looking graphics I have ever seen and marks the first time that I have ever wanted to buy a dual gpu card. C'mon Santa I've been a really good boy this year!

Ughh...whyy does it have to be $1000?? That graphics card looks amazing. I'd feel bad taking off the aluminum cover to watercool it. I'll likely buy a 680 when I finally gather the money for my new build. I just wish this card was $800. I would definitely get it for that price.

Well a single 680 is in the range of $500-600 last I checked, so why should a 690, which is essentially two 680s on one PCB (better than regular SLI) be only $800? x_x

Plus that heatsink is probably good enough to warrant a good chunk of extra $.

I know...I know. I'm just complaining about me being so poor and not able to afford one. :P

If I ever did buy a 690 for $1k, I would definitely buy a 3rd party extended warranty considering manufacturers seem to only give a 3 year warranty now... :-/
