ATI Radeon HD 4600 or a HD 5450?

I have both a ATI Radeon HD 4600 and a HD 5450 and was wondering which is better. I do some light gaming (WoW) and wanna play BF3. Thanks in advance.

The 5450 should perform better, last I checked, though it's not easy to find accurate benchmarks comparing such older cards (and if I could, I'm at work, and my google fu is weak while working).

Though, to be fair, neither card is going to do well with BF3. WoW is more CPU limited than GPU limited, so you'll still see decent enough results (turning down most of the GPU settings to low to boost your FPS). But BF3 just demands a ton from your GPU, and you'll probably be running on low in BF3.

Thanks. And yeah, I'm aware BF3 is going to be choppy either way.

4600 will almost certainly be better, it has four times the shaders (despite being an older generation, that much of a difference matters) and a 128-bit memory interface.

To clarify, it'll be better for WoW. Neither card will run Battlefield 3 well. BF3's graphics will have to be turned so low you'll be lucky if it looks like BF2.
    Super casual.

I do believe anything from 4600 series should pack a bit more punch than the 5450.

I switched a noisy 4650 into a passively cooled 6450 in my mom's computer a while ago. The 6450 is quite a bit faster than the 5450 but still performed worse than the 4650 in the light bit of gaming I tried it out with. hwcompare's numbers agree with me.

(luckily mom doesn't care about gaming, just wanted the thing quiet)
