Hey guys, just got my new computer setup and now I'm tweaking it a bit, and while doing so I read something about flashing your mobo, so I have a few questions. What does flashing a mobo do? Should I do it? and is it dangerous?

its not dangerous and you should do it ...helps to resolve some issues that the motherboard may have asrock has a utility on their site that will do it within windows btw

It's not exactly dangerous, but know that if something interrupts the flashing like sudden power outage, the mobo could be bricked.

First I would research if there's any features I want added or bugs affecting me resolved in the updated bios version.
Don't try fixing something unless it's broken applies here too.
