Since my jack plug is pretty much fucked up i can only use USB headsets, but just broke my old one.
Can anyone give me a recommendation about a good USB headset that supports comfort and quality in sound
7.1-7.2 surround sound preferable

If you have the money, go for bluetooth instead.
FFXIV - Maduin (Dynamis DC)
I use a Turtle Beach Earforce X11 myself. Never had a problem with them and they're very comfortable even after a few hours of raiding. They use a USB connection as well as the standard phone/mic inputs. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Turtle-Beach...6503721&sr=8-2
USB on the X11 is only used to keep the headset powered.

The X11 is not a USB headset, it is a headset with a USB connection. And it is possibly the best headset I've had albeit simple stereo when the OP asks for 7.1
Also they work perfectly fine with a PS3 but unlike the 360 the MIC is of no use.
I would assume the OP is looking for others who have tried any of the following;

Here is my recommendation:
- Get a USB soundcard or a DAC (or a PCI-E soundcard if you have the room). These can range from ~$30 to ~$2000 or more.
- Get a proper pair of headphones with high-end drivers.
- Get a stand alone microphone like the Zalman MIC1 or the Logitech Table Mic.
Do yourself a favour and don't buy a 5.1 or 7.1 "surround sound" headset. To truly gimmick surround (or a 3D sound experience) all you need is two speakers and proper software to emulate sound queues and pressure/volume differences; remember, you only have two ears.
JVC HA-RX700 + Zalman clip-on Mic + NZXT Source 210 Elite
Total: $95
Superior sound quality ($100 range), no 7.1 gimmick, descent mic and yes a new case with no broken plugins!
Just a thought
It would help a lot if you posted a price range you're looking in...
That said, I just got the Logitech G35 recently and it's quite nice. Very good noise canceling and I find it quite comfy personally. But I also don't sweat that badly with headphones on, and they don't really have much breathing in them so I've heard some complaints about that. But everyone is different
I use the Turtle Beach P11, the USB and 3.5mm jack are 2 separate sound channels so the USB will run audio for you. They are comfy, sound good and look good (imo)

And a Zalman Mic.
Or alternatively you can get a T50RP if you can find one.

Just get what I suggested and you'll even have a "working case" and all for less than $100 Granted I don't know which case you have right now, don't want you to be downgrading!
Headphone + mic is your best bet for quality regardless, like a few has already mentioned.

i've got this... it is soooo beautifully comfortable, sound quality is great, and mic quality is great too.
I have the logitech G930 wireless headset and find them very good. Sure they don't sound as good as a pair of sennheiser but they do sound pretty good. The battery life is around 9-10hrs but you can plug them in if you need more or forget to charge them. It has one of the best sounding mic I've had so far and the range is pretty good (around 40' indoor). I'd say its probably my best gaming headset in a while.
