http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Adv...and_Dr._Watson is a really nice movie series and also one of the best adaptations of the books imho. if you check IMDB the average raiting is at 8.5 which is really good.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%27Art...ree_Musketeers is also quite ok to watch as I remember.

    edit:

I found some really good films with really good English subs (unlike the MosFilm English subs) on Vintagefilmclub.

Some of these titles can be watched for free. Here is the link:
    vintagefilmclub.com

A DOG’S HEART (SOBACHYE SERDTSE) - Based on a short story by Mikhail Bulgakov. Leningrad 1924. Professor Preobrazhensky performs an ingenius surgery, transplanting a human hypophysis to a clever street dog. The results are not to be missed.

OR ZAVESHCHANIYE PROFESSORA DOUELYA (LAST WILL OF PROFESSOR DOWELL) - Based on science fiction novel “The Head of Professor Douel” by Alexander Belyaev.

THE SNOW QUEEN (SNEZHNAYA KOROLEVA) - It is about a lonely mighty and beautiful woman who kisses a boy and turns his heart into an icicle. Based on a play by Yevgeny Schwarts and a fairy tale by H.C. Andersen, the film is about tender and loyal friendship between Kay and Gerda who live together with their old grandmother. One day the evil Snow Queen takes Kay away to her ice castle. But courageous Gerda sets off to rescue her friend.
Lady with a Dog , Days of Eclipse,
    Amphibia-Man - I really enjoyed this one.
Yaroslavna – the Queen of France, Dog in the Manger etc
