So I just read that sylvari female will be voiced by Jennifer Hale, the actress who voiced Bastila Shan, Shepard, female trooper in sw tor and leah in diablo 3.
Is that the reason enough to roll one sylvari female for you ?
I personally bought first mass effect only because that I learned that she voiced the main character.
Your thoughts ?
Would you roll additional character to hear her voice while leveling or would that be your main ?
For me it probably will be my main.

Was probably going to roll a female Sylvari anyway, but I'm glad she's doing the voice. Have really enjoyed her work in other games.

Am I going to roll a Sylvari? Eventually. Will it be female? Yep. But it will be for the story, not because I have a crush on the voice actress. ^^

I don't even like Sylvari but there's a good chance I'll make a female one as an alt now because of her. I loved her VA in the Mass Effect games. She was just great.

Lol I was gonna roll an Asura just cause Felicia day does Zojjas voice, however sylvari will be my main but alas it will likely be male because 99.9% of the time I dislike playin female characters because I like to make them more like me with fantasy twists lol

She is also the voice of Leah in Diablo 3. Her VO is fantastic in D3.

She is an amazing voice actor. I loved her as female Shephard and female trooper in sw... and... in everything shes done.
I was thinking Id maybe make a female sylvari. Now Im 100% sure just because of her

Don't see the fuss really, they're still every elven stereotype ever rolled into one shamelessly typical race; that is, Elves, on an MMO. Jennifer Hale is good at voice acting however.

Well, the lore actually just makes them seem like fae creatures. Which was obviously the intention and part of the original design. Just as Asura are meant to hit that familiarity of gnomes & tinkers. Originally Posted by Rivehn
No, the Sylvari are not strictly elves. Though is it fair to say Sylvari are meant to fill that same milieu within a fantasy setting.
