Question about the release

Hey guys,

I remember seeing a topic on this the other day and I can't find it when I look through the pages so my apologies, but if I live on the East Coast (I live in Washington DC), will I be able to purchase Diablo 3 at midnight and play it or do I have to wait?

Also, is there anyway to pre-install the game and merely install the CD key like I did with the WoW X-pacs or no way for that to happen?

I believe it is a midnight pacific time unlock, so 3 am in DC. I don't know if Blizz has digital copies available anymore online, but if they do you can pre-download and install and be ready to play at unlock.

You can download the game at http://us.media.battle.net.edgesuite...downloader.exe (that's the US English client) and then add the cd key to your account when it arrives.

Kinda, once you add the game to your battle.net, you can download the game, but can't install it till Monday at 8 am pacific.
