CPU cooler with High-profile memory.

Hi all,

I'm wanting to get a air cooler for my CPU ( see sig ) but it seems my memory sticks might get in the way.

These 2 pics are from my PC and just goes to show how little room there is for an Air cooler, is their any air coolers around that will fit my set up ?(from what i have gathered i need an Air cooler with 53mm clearance )

What case do you have?
Because most pre-filled/closed loop liquid coolers will likely fit rather well, and possibly the H100 from Corsair as well.

I have the H100 on my Sabertooth p67 with the same Ram as the OP's, it fits.

The Prolimatech Armageddon is a flat high end air cooler, even with installed fans (2 x 140 mm!), it will not touch your memory sticks.
I have it on my ASUS Z77 Sabertooth, it caused trouble with some mainboard cooler, but yours look flat enough to cause no trouble.
Clearance at the memory stick area shouldn't be an issue here, as the cooler doesn't even go there.

My case is a Coolmaster HAF 932 so it will fit anything in.

Edit: I know i can fit a H-100 in my system pretty easy ( mounts on the top inside with HAF 932 ) but i would prefer air cooling.

Then if you wish to keep true to Corsair, any of their hydro-series will fit.
As well as many air coolers, especially if they "only" have one tower.

Thermalright Truespirit 120mm or 140mm, both best in their price range coolers [$30 and $40 respectively], both thin and tall. Excellent performance.
