What kind of career do you WoW players have? Interested...

Those of you who are of age, what kind of career are you guys in?

I myself, work in the Gulf of Mexico 14 days out of the month on a Deep Water Drill Ship. Then I go home for 14 days to do nothing and chill with my family. We are currently in 8,000' of water. I am a Mud Engineer in the oil field.

Those of you who dont know what I do... To simplify it...

When you drill a hole in the ground, you need a way to get the dirt out so you can drill deeper. I manage fluid that goes down hole and brings the dirt to the surface. The wells we drill to extract oil and gas can be drilled anywhere from 10,000' - 30,000'.

I'm a senior software engineer. Mainly that means I meet with clients, learn their business rules, design the application to fulfill those, code the application, and deploy after Q/A

Guess we need to find a way to level more houses! I could pick from one of my many drake mounts...I'm sure they'd enjoy it

Finished my PhD in foreign policy last year, and i was very lucky to be employed into my country's embassy in the U.S. I love living here (currently in Boston) and my job is pretty much paperwork with some public relations on international affairs. Normal 9 to 6 schedule with Saturday and Sunday being days off unless on special occasion(where we have to attend a meeting/conference etc). The payment is quite good post-average for new graduates and i am happy to afford a good state of living alongside my avid wow addiction

I am an experimental scientist tasked with learning how to harvest fat girls for pure energy since they are not useful for anything else.

On the weekends I search for weeaboos and hit them in the head with a lead pipe, needless to say this japanacrapexpansion is gonna be keeping me busy.

    Infracted. Racism isn't tolerated here

I work in the audio/visual field. I set up A/V gear (microphones, projectors, screens, stage lighting) for conferences and meetings across the country with the company I work for. Since Sept. of last year I've already been to Portland, Washington D.C., Santa Fe (not too exciting as I live in NM as is), New Orleans, and San Jose. This is all on top of the work I do locally for the company at the convention center we have a contract with.

It's good work and in a round about way I am using my degree from college which a lot of people seem to not be lucky enough to say. Downside is surprise shows that need gear happen which in turn screw up my raid schedule. My co-raidlead doesn't appreciate it. Hah!

    Salesman

I am very good at Sales. And have lots of awards from 3 different organisations.

To be a good Salesperson, you need to be passionate about the product or service that you are selling.

No use , trying to sell something you do not believe in.

I work for a special education software company, more specifically the "adaptive math" unit. I work on math tutoring programs which can dynamically adapt to each individual's learning needs.

Ideally no one has ever hit the level cap of the last expansion, looked at their dungeon blues, and thought "I win."
